Furnace Technologies was established in 1994 as a manufacturer of pottery kilns for potters and schools; since then it has developed into a Major supplier of furnaces, kilns, dryers, ovens and tools for the mining and mineral processing industry, laboratory and pottery markets.
Peter started making pottery kilns in his garage in 1991 and as the market and his experience grew he then went on to start Furnace Technologies in 1994.
As the demand from industry grew for more technologically advanced industrial furnaces, Peter sought more information on thermal dynamics and enrolled in a degree course in Applied Computational Physics at Murdoch University, Western Australia.
As well as being a qualified industrial gas fitter, Peter is proficient in the use of AutoCAD design software.
Marcus started with Furnace Technologies in 2008 with a wealth of experience in metal fabrication and boiler making.
Marcus has experience in all facets of furnace manufacturing and as Production Manager is a key team member to ensure your furnace is built on time and of the highest quality.
Lee has worked predominantly in the mineral assay industry since 1985 after completing Diplomas in Laboratory Practices for Physics and Chemistry.
From 2000 Lee held management positions in the mineral analysis industry eventually moving to Furnace Technologies in early 2015 and is now General Manager of the company.
Previous operational experience utilised Furnace Technologies range of fire assay cupellation and fusion furnaces, as well as laboratory heating products and tools.
